Step 3 - Fitted Kitchen Installation, Design and Manufacture

Designing and buying a new handmade kitchen is not something you do very often. For that reason, guidance and help from an Optiplan kitchen designer rather than a pushy sales person is invaluable. The process of deciding on what to include and what to leave out of a new fitted kitchen can seem daunting. Choice of materials, such as granite for worktops and different woods for cabinets, can be confusing, and finishing touches such as handles, tiles and lighting have to match or compliment your chosen style.

The people you talk to in Optiplan showrooms are all trained kitchen designers and will go through your room plan and checklist before discussing Optiplan kitchen styles you are interested in. Once you’ve agreed on your ideal cabinets, worktops, appliances and accessories, our designers prepare a scale drawing to show you the how the finished Optiplan kitchen would look. This is a working plan and is easily changed at any stage before ordering but how can you decide on something as important as a new kitchen without seeing what it will look like first?
