An extra special kitchen can help sell a house. All the TV makeover programmes stress the importance of a well designed kitchen in achieving a quick sale. And this does not just apply to home owners – property developers are well aware of this trend.
But it’s not just a matter of selecting a design and ensuring that there are sufficient storage cupboards and all the essential appliances – the discerning buyer demands more. In fact the vital ‘wow’ factor will make their kitchen the envy of their friends.
Helping to create those extra special kitchens for property developer, Salthorp Limited, Optiplan has recently designed and installed 10 kitchens in a new development of luxury flats in Haslemere, and every one is different! Ensuring exclusivity, designer John has created kitchens in a choice of mdf painted finishes or solid wood including cherry, maple and oak.
Eight of the 10 units at Gerardes Lodge have already sold and Peter Keeley of Salthorp is convinced that the kitchens played an important part. “As developers of individual, luxury homes, our customers expect something a bit different. The Optiplan kitchens reflect this. They’re part of a single development, yet each one is unique."
Salthorp has worked with Optiplan for three years. In addition to Gerardes Lodge, Optiplan kitchens are currently being installed at another Salthorp development at Watson Close, Padworth and are planned for a forthcoming development in Liss, Hampshire.
